Great info about the Security Freeze and how it differs from “Credit Monitoring”

I’ve had a Security Freeze in effect at all 5 reporting agencies since October 2015 – and
I’ve had zero problems or fallout from having done it. I was able to place a freeze with all agencies online – and it only took me about 15 minutes tops.

I feel this should be the ‘default’ – but it’ll never happen in the U.S. because fraud makes too much money!
